I’m an artist from Lisbon, Portugal. Over the past year, I’ve been working on an ongoing body of work called “In The Jockeys' Room." In this project, my aim is to capture the intensity that is brought to the sport, as well as the pressure, fear, and preparation that goes along with horse racing. I love the expressions on the jockeys’ faces before and after a race, as well as the overall ambiance of the jockeys’ room.
