"In These Places" is an ongoing series of surreal landscape paintings by Caitlin McDonagh, that are inspired by how human life — us and everything that we create — interacts with the natural world. Commenting on the ephemeral nature of our surroundings, and our existence within them. Through the use of color, pattern, and symbology, this work strives to evoke emotion, shift our environments and leave doors open for the viewers to create their own dialogues and stories.
