The city exists twice: once in concrete above, and once in the quiet depth of wet pavement beneath us. Inverted Zenith turns our gaze downward to rain-slicked streets, where puddles transform asphalt into a glowing night sky of reflected neon, motion, and shadow. Passersby with umbrellas and lone cyclists move across liquid fields of vivid magenta, electric blue, and amber, becoming anonymous, universal symbols of human passage over a world flipped upside down. Raindrops continuously ripple the surface, fracturing and reassembling these dark silhouettes against a sea of vibrant light. Ultimately, this series reveals that ordinary streets hold extraordinary beauty and philosophical depth when we simply take a moment to look down.
