"La grande madre" is a long term project about volcanic geography areas. The pictures are an instrument of economic geography to answer some question about the volcanic lands. The central element is the volcano, here seen as a big mother. Stars, flora and fauna, water, lichens or only sterile lands describe a particular ecosystem of these areas. How can they all interact? After a volcanic eruption there is no life and all is sterilized. How life comes again?
