“LANGAR”
My langar illustration is based on showcasing the concept of langar sewa which is organized by the sikh community in india as well as where they reside around the globe, people from different backgrounds (age, gender, religion, class) come together to eat without any boundaries, everyone is treated as an equal, I left 2 empty spots on the center to emphasize that there’s always space for you to eat and enjoy langar. Everyone rich or poor , people of different faith , culture , cast , race are seated together on the ground on the same level to symbolize equality and that we are all equals in the eye of nature and god .
