The interplay between the external physical environment and the internal psyche has been the object of critical analysis throughout my visual arts practice. The exploration of this theme is fueled by a desire to understand the subconscious effect the environment has on my psyche. With the tools of analogue photography and intuition, I construct images of familiar and unfamiliar spaces that exhibit an atmosphere that uncannily reflects internal feelings that I experience. The investigation of external and internal spaces occurs simultaneously, as the object of internal desires manifest themselves in the atmosphere of these images.
