Lucid Dreams in Lagos City explores the boundaries between human consciousness and environmental presence, situating the imagined within the lived realities of Lagos.
This ongoing, experimental series began as an intimate act of world-building, discovering a dreamlike terrain through which I could highlight identity and expression. Presented are recurring characters developed over time from my childhood up until this very moment. These characters are conceived from within me as extensions of myself, embodying fragments of my memory, desires and persona.


The images are set within remote estates across Lagos. These environments were serene, expansive, and almost suspended in stillness, standing in stark contrast to the chaos of the city.
