Gold is one of the oldest elements of global societies, and also one of our most thematically dichotomous. Gold symbolizes prestige and wealth, but also gaudiness and greed. In applying these symbiotic moral pretexts to the human form, I hope to shed light on how we perceive physical beauty in society.
