I like to hand-draw my mandalas on a large scale. They take about a month to create, and then, if I'm lucky, my friends and family come together with a tin can full of colored pencils, and we color it in. Slowly. Very slowly. The details are baffling, even to me, but over the course of weeks and sometimes multiple years (working on and off), we complete the mandalas, and then they take on a different form that is so much more than I could have ever expected or even anticipated.
