Submission Painting

May, June, July

In the era of overstimulation, it is hard to stay objective and see the world as it really is. The news we receive every day overwhelms our cognitive abilities and reality seems downright apocalyptic - even though we live in times of the greatest prosperity and peace in history.
To fight with a dopamine-driven lifestyle I want to change the focus – from flashy pictures to ones contemplating nature.
Inspired by space and astronomy I try to visualize abstract cosmic landscapes that help the viewer to achieve a meditative state of mind.
I use painting techniques based on experimenting with the matter. Partial lack of control, resulting from the limited predictability of phenomena, causes that the obtained effects to go beyond the original intention and force the search for new analogies and connections with the real world.
