In my current artwork I deal with creating very small sculptures, about 0.5 to 1.5 inch, modeled in clay, mostly painted, to find quickly form and characters of the little hints of people, showing insights and moments of everyday life and emotions both inspired by everyday culture and by daily social media content. I stage installations with the help of my own contemporary illustrations and artworks, objects of daily life or cutouts of photography, everything handmade by myself.
I’m interested in creating a counterpoint to the classical figurative elements as well, a different kind of aesthetics.
I studied sculpture and printmaking at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and work as graphic designer for several years. Look closer.
