mirror stage

This project explores the connection we have with our reflection in the mirror, loosely inspired by Freud's mirror stage. How ones individual perception is incredibly influenced by the way we see ourselves in the mirror. Once we have discovered our reflection we got obsessed with exploring every corner and hidden spot possible. I wanted to create a distance to this obsession, the disconnection of the reflection. Strong enough to decide to run away or only glance at it from the distance. There will always be a part in us that will try again and can't fight the urge to go through that glass and try and change or pick on things.
