I like texture in paintings, delicate layers of fine paint that you can get lost in.
I keep painting these subtle hints of mountains, as if lost in a dreamy storm. I think of these scene in Murakamis 'Kafka on the Shore' swirling round in my head; the children marching their way up the mountain, only to all at once gently fall asleep as if by magic.
