Since sophomore year of high school I’ve been in love with art. Now as a sophomore in college my appreciation for it has only increased. My art is how I express myself, who I am, what I’m interested in and the things that effect me the most. I hope you all enjoy the culmination of years of hard work, happiness and sadness. The death of Kobe Bryant who had been my idol since I was 8 years old inspired my most recent painting/drawing. He motivated and inspired me like no other during his lifetime, his passing brought out the best that I’m capable of expressing right now. For that, this piece of artwork is my thanks to him.
