Submission Painting

my work

In my work there are references to elements of nature, folklore, myths, impressions from dream sequences and from everyday life.
Transformation is a recurring theme.
The human figures seem contradictory and unstable, on the point of transforming themselves into something else.
The animals, the companions of humans, to which strong symbolic values are often assigned, are among my favorite subjects.
While the elements from the vegetable and mineral kingdom, with their mysterious and introverted life, symbolize for me the elusive, hidden aspects of existence
In order to realize my paintings and drawings, I move freely between drawing and painting.
In the last works I combine both techniques, in order to create a combination of drawing and oil painting.
My preferred supports are paper and wood.
