Nature Play

As a nature educator at the Garfield Park Conservatory, I spend a lot of time doing sensory-based, exploratory play with families and natural materials. My coworkers and I are compiling a resource guide to help families bring nature play home. I created this series of illustrations to show our MVPs- 6 versatile natural materials that can be added to any exploration or tinkerlab. These materials are water, sticks, rocks, pinecones, leaves, and dirt.
