Nightwalks

"Nightwalks" was a body of photographic work by Tovah Williams shown at the Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia in October, 2025. Inspired by a dream, "Nightwalks" was an exploration of black and white imagery made in and out of the darkroom. By merging analog and digital photographic processes, the aura of possibility found within the dream was reflected in the experimental nature of the work.
The prints were accompanied by a short description of the dream, bound within a book made in collaboration with John O’Brennan of tidy hands editions, with an introduction by Patryk Stasieczek.
