"Not Your Trophy" is a colourful, rebellious reimagining of the traditional hunting lodge trophy wall.

Inspired by my time working as a tour guide in South Africa, the series celebrates the importance, power and personality of wild animals.

Each coloured-pencil drawing is paired with a spray-paint graffiti effect, creating a visual “tag” that hints at the animal’s personality, story or plight. From the 1K marked on "Gordie - The Gorilla", referencing the estimated 1,000 wild gorillas remaining, to the crown on "Reggie - The Lion", each visual clue adds another layer to the character behind the portrait.

These aren’t trophies. They’re stories and reminders of what we stand to lose. Wild, magnificent and absolutely not yours to own.
