Ocean Cartographies — El Fooser

In this selection of works, Italian artist Enrico Fuser, working under the name El Fooser, brings marine life into dialogue with imagined landscapes.

Created in watercolour and ink on paper, these works inspired by Patagonia, Chile, the Galápagos and Iceland. Cetaceans become carriers of islands, memories and stories, inhabiting a space between natural history and dream.

Through unexpected encounters between animals and their surroundings, Fuser explores the ocean as both a geographical place and an inner landscape, shaped by distance, migration and wonder.
