This work is born out of the intermingling yet incongruent dualities of our day-to-day lives. The deep breaths that fill our bodies with empty space, the dense sunshine that drenches us in its lightness. These dichotomies are what these photographs attempt to embody with their still and stark presentations but capturing dynamic, insurgent realities. The layering of two photographs adds to the dual-bodied ideation and hopefully makes the photo ring with opaque darkness and silence it with lit transparency as well.
