As an Argentine artist currently living and working in Italy, my practice is deeply rooted in the experience of migration, memory, and the displacement of identity. This piece reflects on the act of carrying one's origin across borders—represented by a suspended figure bearing a radiant star. She floats between two territories, holding a fragment of home like a glowing ember that resists distance. Rooted in a printmaking aesthetic with expressive linework and a warm palette, the work explores migration not as a loss, but as a poetic act of preservation, carrying light and heritage into new spaces.
