While the term “tourist” is understood broadly, I have come to realize there are many idiosyncrasies which differentiate the experience for so many people. In certain destinations the tourist is undetectable, in others, they are unavoidable. Documenting traditions of the middle and upper class struggling to let loose, the role of the tourist is explored in this photo series throughout the resorts, kitschy tours and lush landscapes of the Bahamas, Barbados and Antigua.
