Photographed during a journey through Georgia, *Other Lives* brings together people, animals and fragments of everyday life. I photographed what caught my attention, without setting out to tell a particular story.

Only when looking at the photographs together did I begin to notice connections between them: similar gestures, postures and moments of closeness.
