My recent work depicts people interacting and connecting with each other. It represents my desire to make sense of people, interactions and emotions through symbolizing bonds between people. I am hesitant to speak on this subject matter in my everyday life out of fear that what I say will sound forced and trite. The world of my paintings is a diagrammatic, quilt-like world. This world admits to being trite and so I feel free to explore the subject matter within it.
