Parade

This body of work is a collection of photographs that are representative of the strangeness of regular life. None of the pieces seem outwardly bizarre, but they are each strange in a sense; everything begins to feel lopsided, uneven, random, or even just unnecessary. It really is a parade of photographs, providing a mix of contemplation and laughable material. But again, these photographs aren’t of anything revolutionary, at all life changing—just common things in a city—and that is the beauty of it; a parade of the mundane allows us to be happy about everything that hides its importance, what subconsciously makes life enjoyable. One does not notice nature but one does love it.
