Paradise Wallpaper

"Paradise Wallpaper" hints at the Western world’s immeasurable food overconsumption and the rapidly increasing global waste production. Things are not what they appear to be: The wallpapers' seemingly appetizing and exotic fruits turn out to be unharvested or half-eaten, silently rotting on their branches; panoramas of landfills are framed by wreaths of spoiled fruits.
The patterns of "Beautiful Decay" are made up of images from landfills. Individual details are repeatedly mirrored and reflected, blending together to form ever new kaleidoscopic patterns. The wallpapers are produced in various colors and can be printed in customized sizes and materials.
