My name is Holly Stapleton and I am an Editorial Illustrator and Painter based in Toronto. This work is part of an ongoing series called "People Watching" about the impacts of mandatory isolation on selfhood. I am interested in painting scenes of people - in their homes and in their minds; coming to know themselves outside of their work and returning back to slow, contemplative circles of nature.
