This image is of two friends whom I took pictures of in celebration of Capricorn season, aka their birthdays. It was kind of just a fun session in between some of my current projects. As for song choice, Princess Nokia is known for being outspoken about her heritage. Both of these women are similar in the same way, where they also make work pertaining to their experiences as women of color.
