Psychodoodles Volume 1 brings together an early group of works from an ongoing process that begins with quick pen drawings made while my attention is elsewhere—on the phone, waiting, or simply distracted. I photograph those doodles and develop them digitally in Procreate, adding color, texture, figures, and atmosphere while preserving the structure and accidents of the original drawing. I think of the finished works as expansions rather than corrections. The images are not built around predetermined concepts; they arrive intuitively and tend to develop in short suites before the visual current runs its course.
