In a flash of an eye, a raging bull could end up crushing someone with its sheer weight or stabbing the poor bullrider with its horns. One hopes none of these happens while safely tucked behind the fence, watching the action behind the lens. There's this urge to put the camera behind and be present in the moment---and sometimes I do---but as a photographer, I am compelled to record the intensity of the action and the emotions inside the arena.
