Being a graphic designer at a big agency can sometimes make you feel the need to touch some grass. And by that, I mean letting go of perfect guidelines, snappy grids, metrics, and constant approvals. For me, painting is a way to do that—to slow down, notice the mundane, and appreciate it. It’s a meditation on imperfection. A way to explore the unexpected and learn from it.
