The decline of Detroit has been well covered, discussed, and analyzed among everyone from economists to anthropologists. The revival of Detroit is becoming a turning point in international discourse over the city's fate - however, such a revival seems to be happening along racial lines, and everyone outside of a very tight network of inner-city Detroit is yet to reap the benefits of its 'cultural' and financial renaissance. In many ways, the city will always be haunted by its collapse.
