I have been creating analogue collages using strictly original materials for 3 years. My work is a response to the global and personal turmoil. Being displaced due to war, I myself am a cutout looking for glue. Collage as medium is a very physical process and lends itself to my forced lifestyle of uncertainty and interprets the feelings of alienation and belonging. I call my practice scissorlution: revolution with scissors as a weapon as my practice feels rebellious and raw to me.
