Screenshitz are screenshots of my design process, specifically when I observe a moment that would be considered a mess up/accident. Examples of "mess ups" are accidentally pasting the wrong element, turning on or deleting layers, adjusting the wrong vector points, or something unexplainable done by myself or the software.
Since design school, I've developed a habit of taking screenshots as a way to document process and get a sense of the evolution of a design. To me, screenshitz are more than documentation — they are playful interactions between myself and the software. I think of these moments as happy accidents.
2019 marks a decade since I started making these screenshitz.
