Submission Photography

Sculpted

This portrait explores the body beyond the conventional imagery of dance. Through stillness, I wanted to capture the dancer’s flexibility, tension and physical control without relying on a recognisable ballet pose.

The body becomes a sculptural form, balancing strength and vulnerability, movement and restraint. By shifting the focus from performance to physical presence, I explore how the energy of dance can be expressed in a single, still image.
