In the attempt to contextualize certain feelings and recent personal experiences rather enigmatically, I use an abstract setting in my recent pieces, in which I juxtapose elements of our pop culture with other representational forms from nature or our daily life. The current pandemic has forced us to adapt and rethink the way we normally do things. I explore the conflict of accepting our current condition, while yearning for better days to come.
