Silent Thresholds

Silent Thresholds is an ongoing body of work developed through painting and material exploration. Structure and intuition guide the process, while materials shape decisions that cannot be fully planned.
Red threads form thresholds within and beyond the painted surface. They cross images, hang before them and extend into the surrounding space, bringing the relationship between image and object into question.
Moving between abstraction and figuration, I seek forms that are precise yet open, allowing time, memory and presence to be sensed without settling into a single reading. Meaning develops through the encounter with the work.
Across these forms, moments of intimate attention emerge: the sensation of standing before a silent threshold.
