Jihwan is a Seoul-born photographer based in London. Over the course of a year, he followed England’s southern coastline on 35mm Kodak film, through Portsmouth, Southampton, Eastbourne, Margate and the Isle of Wight. Most of the series was made in summer, when the seaside towns fill up and slow down at once: sunburnt afternoons, light that lingers long into the evening.
