A series of images depicting lost space travellers, waiting for incoming signals, ships home, signs of intelligent life.
These drawings started as diary drawings. I love making work with a melancholy mood, but I also have a fondness for old fashioned science fiction and antiquated looks at futuristic technology and spacesuits. I mixed the contemplative figures I was sketching, with bright, vibrant colours and shapes, to create some jarring images that are very personal to me.
