My name is Oliver Raven, and Street Tigers is my illustration and graphic art project, based in Belfast, exploring the black-and-white world of street racing. It began during COVID-19 as simple sketches inspired by racing games like Need for Speed.
I draw each elements one by one and assemble them into a single large, dense artwork. Tigers, sports cars, rain-soaked city streets and figures in streetwear collide in high-contrast monochrome artwork.
The project honours JDM car culture, Bōsōzoku and early 2000s nostalgia, shaped by my interest in JDM magazines, grunge and techno music, and manga.
I’ve made multiple projects and am sharing five here: Boso, Eyes, Faces, Lighting and Canines, plus three extra smaller works showing variety. I’ve designed garments, including tees and hoodies. See it all at streettigers.co.uk.
