Submission Collage

Syntropy

Syntropy is an ongoing series of hand-drawn graphics and collage by Moscow-based artist Igor Dobrun. Each piece begins as a gel-pen drawing, which is then physically cut apart and reassembled with fragments of other drawings into a new space. Where entropy breaks the world into pieces, syntropy builds connections: the series treats collage as a model of perception - the art of assembling the world anew. All works are small, A4 format.

Igor (b. 1979) is a self-taught artist and designer, former art director of Gorky Park in Moscow and the Bosco Fresh Fest music festival. His works are held in private collections.
