Whether creating separately or through collaboration, we are all part of a larger fabric. An unseen thread of influence is woven between every artist, designer, and poet. “The Human Quilt” is an attempt to capture that unseen thread—to celebrate and observe creative communities through projection and portraiture.
So far I have photographed 20 artists who make for a living in Portland, Oregon. Each image was created by projecting a selected piece of their own work onto each artist.
They are all people I am profoundly inspired by; through the work they make and the conversations we have.
