Chelsea Hirons is a Toronto based self-taught photographer working mainly with 35mm film.
The Light You Deserve is a series of colour photographs taken while passing through New York and Toronto, Hirons frames the illuminated details and pieces that form city landscapes. Using a point and shoot camera she highlights the familiar fragmented visuals that can be recognized to be belonging from either location. By making the two cities become interchangeable she explores the feeling of the comfort from daily city imagery.
