My artistic practice unfolds through painting, drawing, monotype, and traditional hand-painted animation. I explore zones of friction between human and non-human worlds, visible and invisible bodies, and between what is spoken and what resists language. My works are inhabited by women, animals, and natural forces that challenge habitual ways of perceiving and relating.
A desire to imagine the world from beyond the human perspective guides my practice. I create images that blur the boundary between human and animal, familiar and strange, revealing both resemblance and irreducible otherness. Few encounters are as unsettling as the silent meeting of two gazes, when the animal looks back at us and language falters.
