The Silence Between explores the emotional space left behind when love endures beyond certainty. Inspired by hope, distance and unresolved connection, the installation considers longing as a cycle of observing, waiting, remembering, speaking and surrendering.

Five CRT displays sit within a fabricated tiled environment, each carrying a looping emotional state. Moving independently, the screens create shifting rhythms of light, static, presence and disconnection. Like unfinished conversations or recurring memories, the images coexist without resolution.

Emerging from personal experience, the work considers how technology can bring people incredibly close while leaving them impossibly distant. It invites reflection on love, grief and absence, and the quiet hope remaining after silence becomes permanent. @babyandthegreys
