There Is No Land For One Who Has Left Their Land

A series of works about leaving and constant movement, and their effect on memory. These works shape my experience of moving between several countries, where I have lived temporarily for 5 years. Each time, I have to pack my belongings and throw away what I cannot carry with me when I travel. I try to bring back all the personal things I threw away and the ones I carried with me. Some of them I have forgotten the shape and color of, so they started to appear in an abstract way, but they remain something protruding in my memory: the walls of houses I lived in and their memories that never leave me. I am all of those masses, the ones I threw away and the ones I carried with me.
Materials: Acrylic and ink drawing on paper and canvas, in various sizes.
