This Is The End is an ongoing series of paintings using source material from all four "Jaws" films. They are an attempt to explore the obsession I had with Jaws as a child and to use abstraction and a lack of context to capture the terror I initially felt while watching them. I also use them as metaphors for more contemporary adult fears about death and outside threats, as well as for the chronic panic attacks I suffered from years ago.
