In the “Unlimited Intimacy” series, I magnify the theme of intimate relationships. While each character still shares the common visual form of the heart-shaped space around the neck, I use multiple specific stories to express my thoughts on the boundaries of intimacy. In addition to the intimate relationships between people, there is also a subtle intimacy between humans and nature, animals, the environment, and even abstract concepts like the future. These ideas have been explored in many works of art I’ve encountered, such as W. Somerset Maugham's novel ”The Painted Veil”, the film “HER“, about humans falling in love with artificial intelligence, or Zheng Bo’s short film explores emotional relationships between humans and nature that transcend ethical boundaries.
