I place familiar things where they seem not to belong, exploring the tension between an object and its surroundings. A small shift in context makes what we recognize feel strange, leaving us uncertain about what we are seeing and how to respond. These encounters hover between accidental and intentional, intimate and unsettling. I am interested in this unresolved space, the moment when something feels out of place, but we cannot quite say why, or where it should belong.
