I approach my work with light sources as an opportunity to broaden an understanding of the power of influence in our everyday lives. The outcomes of my experiments are directly influenced by varying degrees of manipulation that build upon a light source's distinct qualities. With a countless array of variables to offer up as influence such as propulsion, weight and light modifications, the hung light sources navigate a path in response to those factors, allowing us to track its short-lived existence in a single exposure and revealing a unique creation. In addition to the single-exposure creations, scenes were formed by joining together certain single exposures to create new worlds where light exists as form and character.
